Hi, I'm Christine - and I help people move well for life.

For more than 13 years, I've worked with active adults who want to stay strong, mobile, and confident in their bodies as they age. My approach blends yoga, movement, strength, and targeted release work to help people feel better in their bodies now while building long-term resilience over time.

I came to this work as someone who never felt like yoga was "for me" - strong but not flexible, not the size-zero bending into shapes. When I started, downward dog was hard and I didn't fit the image. Nothing was wrong with me. The yoga just wasn't built for real bodies. That experience shapes everything about how I work.

I'm a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200) with additional training in Yin, Restorative, Hot yoga, and Yoga Tune-Up Ball therapy, plus a massage therapy background that gives me a deep, hands-on understanding of anatomy. I've worked with thousands of bodies over the years - and that experience is just as much a part of my practice as any certification.

Whether we work together in person or virtually, sessions are tailored to your body, your goals, and your real life. I'm located in Southeastern Massachusetts (New Bedford) and work virtually with clients anywhere. If you're looking for a personalized approach to strength, mobility, and longevity - I would love to work together.

"I was always afraid to try yoga, thinking it's too difficult and I'm not flexible enough.  When I entered Christine's class for the first time, I was convinced otherwise.  Her patience, instruction and adjustments to poses made me feel powerful and motivated to keep at it.  Christine explains the movements and breathwork and creates a calming, safe, comfortable safe to practice.  I highly recommend trying her classes!"

LOOKING FOR THE PERFECT YOGA MAT?
LLY_2019_137_edited_edited.jpg

I'm often asked if a yoga mat matters to a strong practice, and my answer is YES! While yoga requires very little equipment, a quality mat is essential to provide passing and prevent slipping.

I have been a strong supporter of B, Halfmoon for many years and am proud to offer my community a 15% discount off their mats and yoga props. Click on the link below and enter YOGA_FOR_GRACEFUL_LIVING at checkout. If you want to hear more about why I love my B, Halfmoon mat, send me an email!
